He is in a bit of a rut and rather disgusted with the childish mentality of most of his fellow college classmates. Early thirties, bored with his job and heading back to school at night for some college classes. So, Vaughn is the easier of the two characters to describe. This is a long story that spans about 2 or 3 years and it is truly the most unique story I have ever read. There is no instalove, wild passionate sex on every conceivable surface, or quick and easy HAE. It is not your average gay romance novel. So, first off, if you love unique fiction romance books, this is perfect for you.
I have never read anything by Nicky James but I will be checking out the rest of her books because this one was just phenomenal.
